MusicPlus is looking to support young people keen to pursue a career in music.
MusicPlus offer support to young people, aged 14-19) in all elements of the profession, from instrumental and technical tuition to song-writing, new technology, DJ and rapping skills, sound engineering and entrepreneurship, across all genres of music. The aim is to provide tailor made support to the individual through direct contact with music industry professionals who’ll offer guidance, encouragement, skills and knowledge across a range of industry roles from performance to event promotion.
The project, supported by Creative Scotland’s Cashback for Creativity programme, has recently been increased to include people from all over Scotland following a successful pilot in several areas including the Highlands. Feedback from the initial project included:
