Fake Blood comes to Ironworks

Saturday the 2nd of March will see Fake Blood (aka Theo Keating) play The Ironworks, Inverness.

The November release of Fake Blood’s first LP, Cells earned the interesting label of “a welcome oddity” by Clash Music, concluding the review by stating that “Keating is a musical alchemist and the club scene should be scared”. Whilst Keating has lost his previous anonymity he certainly has not lost his ability to evolve and create contemporary sounds, impressive when you consider his nearly 20 year in the scene. He has produced major club hits “Mars” and “Blood Splashing (Fake Blood Theme)” whilst remixing for Underworld and Dan Le Sac.

Tickets go on sale on the 25th of March via www.Ironworksvenue.com

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene. In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me via our Facebook page.
