On Saturday 22 June 2013, the Ironworks is hosting, as part of the aLive Festival, an evening of inspirational music showcasing the music of three Christian bands all wearing their hearts on their sleeves. In previous years this festival has garnered a reputation of being the biggest indoor Christian event of the year.
The bands will take to the stage bringing a range of styles all sharing their love of Christianity, great music and passionate praise.
Canadian born Ben Cantelon and his band have just released their second CD “Everything in Colour”. Ben, a gifted songwriter, is a worship leader in London. His brand of clean cut pop and rock will be a sure fire hit for all ages.
LS7 are a grittier prospect bringing electro and rap together from their home in Manchester. These guys are back after a massive impact at aLive 2012. This year they are also working in Inverness Secondary Schools sharing their noisy and relevant gospel music.
Finally, Empire Nation and their trademark guitar led rock and vocal harmonies will bring the night to an inspirational finale. Now on their second CD, Closer, Empire Nation are developing a back catalogue of material that will stand them in good stead for years to come.
If you are a young (at heart) Christian, you will no doubt have this date already in your diary. For lovers of good music perhaps with an interest in Christianity this event will be the crowning jewel of the weeklong aLive festival.
Tickets available via www.Ironworksvenue.com on Friday 25th of January.
