OutDores Line-up for Summer Party Revealed

Dixon Avenue Basement Jams and more announced for Dores dance event.

Following the release , and very quick sell out, of early bird tickets for the OutDores party the line-up for the July event has been revealed.

Heading up the announcement is Dixon Avenue Basement Jams aka Dan ‘Monox’ Lurinsky and Kenny Grieve aka The Wasp, purveyors of, what The Boiler Room describes as  “no-nonsense club music, that always seems to exude the energy of a raucous Glaswegian crowd”.  The duo are also label who’s motto of having “real rockin’ raw shit from the street for the clubs” has seen them release EPs from Marquis Hawkes, Vernon and fellow OutDores act Big Miz.

Big Miz’s debut EP ‘Midnight Man Handle’ won many fans which The Skinny describes as “distills the vibe of the much-loved Offbeat parties which he co-founded, drawing on classic house and techno influences with notable aplomb”.

They will be joined by Edinburgh based Makaze whose bio interestingly described him as a classically trained musician who has turned to the dark side of electronic music. With sets that cross genres from house to bass with a twist of disco he has previously seen himself on the bill of gigs including Rudimental and Hostage.

Darren Hamilton was the winner of the 2014SoundClash DJ Competition that saw him support support Sub Club and iAM resident Kappa. He has also played Mother’s Ruin at Belladrum and has recently launched his own new podcast series ‘Saturn’.

Also on the bill are Alottarhythmman, Debukas and event co-organisers Mark Mackenzie and Ally Ridgers.

Carrying on the ethos of working with local businesses, Black Tartan Food, Limelight and The Dores Inn will be supporting the event . They will be joined by the recently announced Innes & Gunn who will be official sponsor and will host a second bar area.
