TECHnique returns for July event.
Following the successful April gig which featured Dave Clarke, Octave One and Funk D’Void, it is perhaps unsurprising that it returns quickly to the venue.
The first act announced is Kenny Larkin (aka Dark Comedy) who in an interview with Low Life last year said of his music “I’m gonna try to do something that has some kind of substance to it, instead of just bangin’ people out with a drumtrack, which is easy.. you can just make it hard, and heavy, and people go wild.. but where’s the art in that?”.
With an ethos like that, it’s perhaps no surprise that he has been credited with some of the most timeless and soulful techno during his career that has stretched two decades.
“Originally set to perform at the debut of TECHnique we are delighted to be bringing this pioneer to Inverness on July 8th” said promoter Steve Robertson of TwentyTen “We also will be announcing more acts soon, it’s going to be a hot summer edition of TECHnique”.
TECHnique will be at Ironworks Venue on the 8th of July with tickets available via Ironworks website soon.
