LCC LIVE ANNOUNCES OLLY MURS’ RETURN TO INVERNESS IN AUGUST 2022.

Concert promoter, LCC Live has today (Monday 20th September 2021) announced that pop superstar, Olly Murs, will return to Inverness for a summer show next year, as part of its Live in the City programme.

Known for his sensational live shows and catchy pop classics including ‘Grow Up’, ‘Heart Skips a Beat’, ‘Troublemaker’ and ‘Dear Darling’, Olly Murs will take to the stage at Northern Meeting Park, Inverness on Saturday 13th August 2022.

Announcing the show, Carlie Davidson of LCC Live, the concert promoter for this show, said, “It’s been a difficult 18 months or so, and to finally be able to announce this show in Inverness is really exciting! Olly is a born entertainer, and we love working with him. We had a great night with him when he performed to a sell-out crowd in Inverness in July 2017 – his enthusiasm knows no bounds, and we love the rapport he has with his fans. It’s going to be a great family friendly night in Inverness – come and join us!”

This is no doubt a welcome announcement for fans of the singer who won plaudits for his last visit to Inverness back in 2017 where our reviewer was impressed with the great atmosphere and the fun vibe that he brought to the gig. A born performer, he’s bound to be a big draw and should hopefully be another sign of a return to more live gigs and festivals in the Highlands next summer.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Friday (24th September) from Ticketline or from Cafferys Menswear in Eastgate Shopping Centre, Inverness.

I've always loved music and spent my late teens and early twenties playing guitar in various bands on Lewis and Aberdeen. Other than playing in some truly terrifying pubs in Aberdeen not much came of it and life became focused on family and having a 'proper' job. Inverness Gigs is an outlet for me to quell my inner frustrated musician and the caliber of local acts has even inspired me to take my own music more seriously again. Who knows, one day I might venture back on stage under the fierce scrutiny of an Inverness Gigs reviewer! You can contact Toby direct at Toby@Igi.gs
