Wet Wet Wet announce Inverness tour
The Scottish band whose songs include “Love is All Around” “Sweet Little Mystery” and “Julia Says” set teenage girls (and those who know better) aflutter when they first formed in 1982.

The tour announcement coincides with the 20th anniversary of Wet Wet Wet’s huge number one album “Picture This”. The band will be finishing The Big Picture Tour in Inverness, following an array of dates which also includes nights at the SSE Hydro and the O2 arena.

Frontman Marti Pellow said;

“When we play together it always reminds me how great this band is and how proud I am of the armory of songs we’ve built up. We love to see the fans enjoying what we do on stage and we’re all looking forward to being on the road again.

Having performed in Blood Brothers in Inverness earlier this year, I had a great time and the fans were so welcoming. I simply had to make sure the band came to Inverness to play as part of the tour – it’s going to be great!”

The event follows a chain of successful gigs including Texas, Deacon Blue and Peter Andre at the Inverness Leisure put on by organiser LCC Live.

Tickets go on sale at 9am on Thursday 21 May 2015 and are available online from www.ticketline.co.uk or by calling: 0844 888 9991 or in person from Caffreys Menswear, Union Street, Inverness.
