So how traditional do you like you music at Hogmanay? This year Hootananny on Church Street, Inverness brings in the bells with its Hogmanany Extravaganza over two floors of the venue.
Hootananny on the ground floor will play host to a Scottish ceilidh in the form of The Scone Fairies & Friends – lifelong enthusiasts for Scottish Traditional music will call all the Scottish dances giving an authentic and traditional Scottish Hogmanay experience.
Upstairs in Mad Hatters sees a performance from The Big Fat Electric Ceilidh who take the ceilidh scene to a whole new level in Scotland as they mix Ceilidh Culture with Club Culture. This fusion of electronic music and live traditional music comes from some of Scotland’s hottest musicians and has some truly fantastic visuals from one of the North’s top visual artists. Built for the 21st Century the band deliver a truly intense and amazing experience.
