IGigs are proud to announce ,as part of our ten year celebrations, Belladrum have kindly allowed us to borrow the Bandstand stage for part of Thursday night to celebrate a decade of IGIgs.

In doing so we have curated a line up of acts that represent our first ten years and we are delighted that they have come on board.

Sarah Williamson

Previously seen fronting Shaped and Table For Four, Sarah has a knack for catchy tunes that blend a wicked sense of humour with a touching sensitivity. No stranger to Belladrum, having managed to play 4 different sets at Belladrum 2015, her 2022 performance is her first in a long long time and we know Belladrum will give her a warm welcome back.

On the announcement, Sarah said “I’m delighted to return to Belladrum it’s been my home from home for years and I can’t think of a better place to make a return to the stage”

Be Like Pablo

“We are very delighted to join the lineup of this year’s Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival. Due to the pandemic, we haven’t played a gig in nearly 3 years (over 1000 days!) so we are very excited to take to the Bella Bar stage. We have been recording our new album recently and are looking forward to playing some new songs as well as some old ones. We couldn’t ask for a better return gig for Be Like Pablo” – Ewen Watson.

In a previous article we noted that “There is something clearly adorable about Be Like Pablo, their bubble-gum pop tunes, ooze sunshine, joy and smiles.” Perfect for the first night at Belladrum.

Chancers

Despite being blighted by Covid, Chancers are a five piece indie band fronted by Lauren Mackenzie and Jake Bolt joined by Mikey Duncan, Archie Stewart and latest recruit Callum Ford. The band are taking full advantage of getting back to gigging and this will be their festival debut as a full band.

Jake said “We are absolutely buzzing to return to Belladrum! We played previously as an acoustic trio in 2019 – we return this year with big bass, crashing drums, loud guitars and a killer new set! See us at 6.30pm on the Thursday at the Bella Bar Stage. TO THE BAR! CHANCERS x”

The Dihydro

The Dihydro are relative newcomers to the Inverness scene especially if you ignore the C years. The loud, ferocious duo make a welcome return to the live scene for IGigs.

“When we were asked to be part of IGigs 10 year Celebration at Belladrum, we jumped at the chance. This is our First Gig in 2½ years, Having not been active through “The Rona Years” it has given us the kick up the arse we needed to get ourselves back out and heard again!! And believe me you will hear us!! We Are Two! We Are The Dihydro! We Are Back Together!

Chris Lemon , founder of IGigs, “We very much appreciate the opportunity Belladrum have given us to celebrate our tenth birthday (give or take a year or two), we really wanted to curate acts that capture the spirit of IGigs and think that in Sarah, The Dihydro, Chancers and Be Like Pablo we have done a good job. A massive thanks to all the acts and thank them for their keenness to support the website in our celebrations”
