As an act how how does it feel to be back post-COVID?
It’s exciting .Nerve racking … Covid came from nowhere and changed my life a lot. I didn’t think I would gig again … But the feeling of a good crowd at a place like Belladrum is magical and I truly can’t wait.
Given the myths and legends theme of Belladrum 2022, can you tell us a myth or legend of the band?
Legend has it that Avril Lavigne isn’t actually Avril Lavigne..
Which legend (non-musical!) would you have appear on stage with you and what song would you play with them?
Stone Cold Steve Austin … we could sing any classic duet and I’m sure it would be iconic !
There have been a few musical legends play Belladrum over the years which performance would you most like the opportunity to see again?
I have so many The Lafontaine’s, Tommy Tommy Tommy f’n Jones!, the legendary Lewis Capaldi… to name a few . I will forever be sad I never caught a Frightened Rabbit set at Belladrum.
How are you preparing for your Belladrum performance?
So I’ve been practicing my set after work and just getting my festival head on . cleaned the guitar changed her strings tunes her up…
If your set only consisted of three songs and one extra cover, which ones would they be and why?
Loser F.P and Letters I just think Loser is a good example of one my lighter songs letters is a slightly darker sided song and F.P Is my new song I’m just in s honeymoon phase with atm as for a cheeky cover depends on the over all vibe Britney Spears … Nirvana …. what’s the vibe ?

You’re out for a few drinks, what other artist that you know, would turn it in to a legendary night?
I don’t know many artist on a personal level … I’m an introvert however I feel like anyone who can get me out my shell a bit is a legend …

What would you rather fight, a unicorn the size of Nessie or 20 unicorn sized Nessies?

What is your favourite urban legend?
My old housing scheme… in the Scottish highlands … was built on an ancient Indian burial ground….. riddle me that !!
If you had to form a 4 piece band from legendary creatures what instrument would each play and why? Also what would you call the Mythical band?
I’d make a band with a bunch of wizards call ourselves Soul Magic… it’d be very smooth jazz like …
