Tamzene introduces debut EP ‘Details’ with latest track ‘Dance With You Again’.
There has been an undeniable buzz around Tamzene for a long time now, indeed we first caught her at an Ironwork’s showcase in 2016 where she was described as having “a popular appeal to what she produces and was able to keep an audience absorbed throughout.” Her latest single is introduced by Tamzene as “a song is for dancing with the ones you love!”, she adds a particular poignancy “it’s about longing to be with someone you love again, and how that really can make you wish away the days.”.
It’s a beautifully, bittersweet entrancing tune that unveils it’s complexity as it flows. Whilst Tamzene will quote her influences as including Adele and Ella Fitzgerald, you can also draw comparisons to the likes of Alter Bridge and Olivia Dean You can listen to ‘Dance With You Again’ here.
The track follows on from recent releases ‘Cut Me Out Of Your Photos’ and ‘Called You Out’ which have built up over three million streams between them. It feels a million miles away from her busking days as she prepares for the release of her EP by EMI Records on the 20th of May. You can also catch her live at Belladrum 2022 in July.
