Win a slot to perform at Jocktoberfest 2019

Inverness Gigs in conjunction with Jocktoberfest host competition to win the opening slot on the main stage.

Following on from the success of the competition to find acts to play Belladrum 2018, which saw The Roov and Alannah Moar perform at the event and Gordon James and the Power for Jocktoberfest 2018 we are please to announce our search for a band to play Jocktoberfest.

The festival is renowned for it’s blend of high quality beer and live music from across the genres. Indeed the main stage has played host to an impressive array of acts with 2019 boasting Tom McGuire and The Brassholes, The Dihydro, Ramanan Ritual and many more. As well as drawing from some of the best Scottish talent around including Miracle Glass Company, The LaFontaines and Colonel Mustard & The Dijon 5.

We are pleased to announce the opportunity for a Highland based band to open the stage on Saturday the 7th of September 12 MD. There are no particular restrictions to applications, the organisers are looking for a band that fits in with the current line-up. To apply please complete the form HERE by 10am on Friday 21st of June. (Please note that all members of the band must be over 18)

Two finalists will be selected by members of the Jocktoberfest and Inverness Gigs team on Friday the 21st. The final decision will be announced on Wednesday 27th following a public vote via Facebook.

So if you are interested in joining one of the friendliest festivals in the Highlands then get applying.

Tickets are still available, but demand is high.

Jocktoberfest 2019 is held between Fri 6th Sep at 6:00pm – Sun 8th Sep at 1:00pm at the Black Isle Brewery, Munlochy.
