Arguably the biggest gig to happen in Inverness for quite some time, Noel Gallagher and Co. will be performing their only Scottish outdoor date of 2019. Details for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds Inverness on the 8th of June are as follows;
Parking and Traffic restrictions
There will be no car parking available at the event site other than for disabled parking (which is at Inverness Ice Centre), as such city centre car parks should be used.

What can you take in to the event?

No food or drink (only exemptions being 1 UNOPENED 500ml bottled water and people with specific dietary needs for diabetes etc (Organiser have asked that you please bring a note or medical ID and present this to the senior stewards at the event entrance.)). There will be various food outlets available.
Deckchairs, camping chairs, umbrellas folding chairs, gazebos, professional cameras (or cameras with zoom lens), tents are prohibited.
Who is supporting Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds in Inverness?
Support for the event comes from Johnny Borrell and Co. aka Razorlight who headlined Belladrum in 2014 and Neon Waltz whose ‘perfect harmonies and entrancing lyrics create a journey through emotions’ during their headline performance at the Ironworks in 2018. Opening the stage will be Inverness based Lional.

“We’re delighted to be special guests for Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds. It’s a huge show for us to perform at and we’re looking forward to it – playing in our home town is always special!”

Stage Times
The official event page states that it will open at 4pm and finish at 1030pm. All tickets are ‘General Admission’ so be there early to get a good spot (and make sure you catch Lional).
Set-list
Whilst new material including ‘Black Star Dancing’ and ‘Rattling Rose’ have been getting an airing there will be some Oasis classics;
“They’re my songs and I wrote them all by myself and I’m proud of them and I’m proud of what they mean to other people and I’m proud of where they sit with what I’ve done now.”
