We introduce Lucille and ask them a few question ahead of their gig at Tooth & Claw in November.
Who are you ?
Lucille is the natural evolution of Neon Knights. With the end of Neon Knights in January we found ourselves looking for the missing piece. Trying out an array of musicians and singers before finally concluding, what we needed was right in front of us all along.
Lucille are:
Marc Davidson (Guitar/Vox)
Gordon Bolton (Bass Guitar)
Lewis Murray (Lead Guitar)
Jack Ledsham (Drums)
What do you do ?
Genres can be restrictive so we prefer not to camp under any specific banner. This allows us the freedom to write how and what we feel. However to answer the question, we definitely have a Gritty Pop Rock vibe. We like to put on a show, feed off the crowds energy and give it back through our performance.
For fans of…. ?
We each bring our own influences to the table. From Biffy Clyro, to Foo Fighters, Muse, Paramore and The Shires. When all brought together it gives us our Gritty Pop Rock sound. We like to feed off our audience, and use their energy to drive our performance and because this we think each performance is unique and no two gigs the same.
Where are you going ?
Short term the plans are to record and release demos to widen our audience and presence across social media platforms.
Long term the plan is to record our debut ep and work our way into the best position to be considered for festivals and the bigger opportunities.
Where can we catch you ?
We are working hard to secure as many gigs as possible.
Currently we are booked to play
03/11/17 – Tooth and Claw Inverness – Supporting Sleepless Giants
25/11/17 – Box Glasgow
09/12/17 – Green Room Perth
Anything else?
We just want to say a massive thank you to everyone who has shown support so far be it watching the videos, liking/following our social media or reached out to us with messages of support – we love what we are doing and none of this is possible without their support.
Lucille can next be seen supporting Sleepless Giants at the Tooth & Claw and check out their Facebook page .
