Dave Maciver introduces the eleventh IGigs podcast.

Xpo North live spectacular featuring all the bands listed below. The last one is a very special session as me, Jackal Trades and three of my friends got trapped in a lift but still managed to record. Thanks once again to the Inverness Fire and Rescue Service who busted us out.

In the show:

James Mackenzie – Bones
Carma – Chasing Butterflies
Medicine Men – Realise / Forget
The Oxides – In One Ear And Out The Other
Ernest Rambles – The Way It Is Sometimes
The Youth And Young – Lanterns
Mia Mackintosh – She’s Resting With The Best Of Them
Josephine Sillars – Down
Declan Welsh And The Decadent West – Times
Scott Wallace – Made Clear To Me
Jackal Trades – Bill Hicks Fan but in a lift

The last bit is one of the best audio dramas I’ve been involved in for a while, can’t believe how well it worked out timing wise.

Dave MacIver
Dave trained as an actor back in the 20th century so obviously he has a day (night) job in a call centre now. By no fault of his own he started covering the music scene and has been stuck there ever since. Podcasting in various forms for about a decade, and a couple of years of radio, has culminated in the show here. Dave watches a lot of Netflix, and is very chill. He also cares about Oxford commas.
