If you think that being a MSP is the only way to make a noise at Holyrood, think again…
Holyrood Rocks is a ‘battle of the bands’ style competition which is targeted specifically at those aged 16 – 25. The idea behind the competition is to encourage young people to get involved with the political process. To make a noise and make a difference.
There will be 8 regional heats, mirroring the 8 regions represented at the Scottish Parliament. The winners from each heat will then play in the final which takes place at the Scottish Parliament on Saturday 31 October.
The Highlands and Islands heat takes place in Inverness at the Spectrum Centre on Saturday 3 October. Entries for this heat are still open and are open to any unsigned acts whose members are 16 and over. There is no upper age limit. The final date for entries is this coming Friday (25 September 2015).
