Vinyl makes a comeback

Union Vinyl in association with Creative Skate announce two vinyl based evenings.

Following on from the success of BYOV at the Phoenix that saw a rare mix of tracks and DJs mixed together with a great atmosphere, the two Inverness businesses have announced a duo of nights.

October’s return of BYO Vinyl is the opportunity to be the be the DJ on a night which promises an eclectic mix of tunes, with the only remit being that they must be on vinyl. It’s time to seek out you LPs and 45s again… and if you do you can book a slot on the decks.

Nigel Graham of Vinyl Records will also be hosting a night a Vintage Vinyl night at The Eagle in September. A journey through time with Dj’s for the night which will see  Helen Burgess represent the Sixties, Nigel the Seventies and Duncan Campbell McSporran the Eighties. Nigel will  return with a mix from all the decades to finish the evening.

BYOV will be held on the 3rd of October at The Phoenix Ale House with Vintage Vinyl being held on the 5th of September at The Eagle.
