Despite their relative freshness on the music scene, it has not stopped them winning the attention of the Country Music Association and BBC Radio Two for whom they featured on the documentary ‘Nashville UK,’ celebrating the rise and rise of country in the UK.
Frustrated by the idea of being a flash in the pan Crissie said “We don’t want to be known as just springing out of nowhere, because behind the scenes, we’ve worked really hard,” adding “We’ve done our legwork, and and the two of us finding each other has just worked.”
The Shires play the Ironworks on the 10th of October, tickets available via The Ironworks website.
