Black Cat Bone play Inverness in October.

The Edinburgh based 4-piece have been described as being “at the forefront of the new blues rock underground” although possibly more notably “they have a passion that burns through the tracks amid chunky, distorted guitar riffs, layers of vocals and harmonicas, catchy hooks and heart-pounding percussion.”

Formed in 2012, they have supported the likes of Son of Dave and Marcus Bonfanti, features Ross Craig, Richard Bodsworth, Luis Del Castillo and Jonny Voodoo.

With new album ‘Growl’ ready for release, they finished recording on the 7th of October! Early listens to the recordings have gone down well with one reviewer remarking; “If you’re gonna play the blues, you need to learn the rules before you can bend them; luckily, Black Cat Bone play like they wrote some of those rules”.

Black Cat Bone play Mad Hatters, Hootananny, Inverness on the 29th of October, with support from Neon Knights and iNERTIA
