We know this is old news, but Rockness are selling tickets for 2012 for £99 for the weekend. The price is the same for both camping and non-camping tickets.

Just a couple of observations that strike us at invernessGiGs – the first being tickets are still on sale at £99. They have been on sale since the 4th of August; there is no sign or indication that this offer will be removed soon. We can’t help but compare this to last year when tickets went on sale at the same price and the batch of tickets allocated were gone within the day.

The other thing, and sorry to be repetitive but tickets cost £99 for the weekend regardless of whether you are camping or not camping. So if you are local (or not) and not camping you are subsidising the camping provision. However, if you consider car parking or transport in to the festival that’s an extra £10-£15 per day. We guess our point is tickets without camping should be cheaper than tickets with camping (or include parking), and this directly effects local fans of Rockness more.

Tickets for Rockness 2012 available from a host of online retailers, please keep an eye on the booking fees though.
