Singer and lead guitarist of Gomez, Ben Ottewell makes his solo debut at Mad Hatters in April.
Described by Rolling Stone as “Gomez’s not-so-secret weapon”, Ottewell is well known for his unmistakable voice and talent for blistering and inspired guitar solos as exampled on the Mercury Prize-winning album “Bring It On”.
His debut album , released in 2011, Shapes & Shadows was described as being ” more low-key, melancholy, and acoustic driven” saw one of it’s tracks appearing on Tv’s ‘Sons of Anarchy’.
March sees Ottewell ploay six dates in America, whilst April draws him back from the other side of the Atlantic to play a UK tour in support of his recently-released critically-acclaimed album, ‘Rattlebag’.
