Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival is gearing up for its monumental 20th-anniversary celebration in the picturesque Scottish Highlands next summer. As the excitement builds, the first wave of acts have been announced including welcoming back the iconic Scottish band, Deacon Blue, who are set to headline once again, and the era-defying chart-toppers Sugababes.
Deacon Blue’s Return
Deacon Blue, the legendary Scottish band, formed in 1985, has consistently wowed audiences with their electrifying live performances. Comprising Ricky Ross (vocals), Lorraine McIntosh (vocals), James Prime (keyboards), and Dougie Vipond (drums), they’ll be taking you on a nostalgic journey through their remarkable 35-year career. Brace yourself for a weekend filled with classic hits like ‘Real Gone Kid,’ ‘Fergus Sings the Blues,’ and ‘Chocolate Girl.’
Sugababes – Chart-Topping Sensations
Prepare for a Thursday night like no other as the original Sugababes lineup of Mutya Buena, Keisha Buchanan, and Siobhan Donaghy grace the stage. With six number one singles, millions in global sales, and multi-platinum albums, they’re sure to deliver an unforgettable performance featuring their debut single ‘Overload,’ along with hits like ‘Push the Button,’ ‘Round Round,’ ‘About you Now,’ and the recent single ‘When the Rain Comes.’
Sophie Ellis-Bextor’s Electrifying Debut
Adding a touch of glamour and style to Belladrum 2024 is the chart-topping singer, songwriter, and Kitchen Disco host, Sophie Ellis-Bextor. Her music combines elements of 1970s disco and 1980s electronica, creating a fresh and unique sound. Bill Bailey: Comedy and Dance Champion
Breaking new ground, Belladrum welcomes its first comedian to the main stage – Bill Bailey. Renowned internationally as an eccentric stand-up comedian, Bill recently gained a whole new audience with his victory on BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing.

The festival boasts a diverse lineup with award-winning folk band Talisk, Scottish alternative rock band The Vaselines, Ben Ottewell of Mercury Prize-winning band Gomez, and many more. Folk, rock, indie, and even ska – Belladrum 2024 has it all!
Late Night Love and Singalongs
Keeping with the love theme, Belladrum offers late-night slots featuring the ’70s-inspired disco show Brutus Gold’s Love Train and a mass singalong of some of the best love songs ever written with The Counterfeit Beatles.
