Get Ready for a ‘Belter’ Weekend: Peat & Diesel Headline Highland Outdoor Shows in May 2024.
It seems that no tent can contain them, no stage is big enough, and record sales only whet their appetite for more. The unstoppable force that is Peat & Diesel is back with a bang, or should we say, two bangs! Over the May Bank Holiday Weekend in 2024, Peat & Diesel will be bringing their unique brand of Celtic rock to the Highland showfield, and you’re invited to join the party.
On Saturday, May 25th, they’re going all-out with a 16+ show featuring The View as the main support act. The View’s return to the Highland stage is a momentous occasion, and they’ll be joined by more fantastic acts to be announced soon. But that’s not all, because Sunday, May 26th, is the family day, and chart-toppers The Feeling will be rocking the main support slot. Get ready for a day of music, fun, and activities for all ages, including Boydie’s Bingo, Tug O War with Innes, and Crazy Golf with Uilly.
Both days will feature a funfair, tantalizing street food, well-stocked bars, and, of course, the true star of the show, ‘Calum Dan’s Van.’ The family day is proudly sponsored by Highland Industrial Supplies and charity partners MFR’s Cash for Kids and Mikeysline, all working together to make this weekend unforgettable.
“We’re not only delighted to announce our biggest headline shows but excited to have two days of music and fun with you all in the Highlands,” says Uilly, adding “The Highlands has been a very special place for us as a band over the last 5 years, and we wanted to come back with a bang, well, two bangs!”
Peat & Diesel is known for their incredible connection with the local community, and their outdoor shows aim to make a real impact. With charities like Cash for Kids and Mikeysline onboard, this weekend is more than just music; it’s about making a difference.
Tickets for this epic Highland weekend go on sale on Friday, October 27th, at 10 am.
