Previously announced headliners for 2020, Nile Rodgers & Chic and Emeli Sande will be joined by Van Morrison for Tartan Heart Festival in 2021.

Following the cancellation of Belladrum 2020, the festival have come back swinging announcing the 75 year old singer- song writer Van Morrison as it’s third headliner. With a plethora of awards, hits and an impressive work rate that has seen 6 albums released in 3 years (at last count) Van Morrison is truly a musical legend.

He will be joined, as Belladrum headliner, by legendary multi- Grammy Award winning composer, producer, arranger and guitarist Nile Rodgers & Chic and Scottish Artist with one of the most recognisable voices in pop, soul and R&B, Emeli Sande.

Festival producer, Dougie Brown is clearly pleased with the announcement;

“[we] are delighted that we have been able to re-book such an incredible line up of artists to appear at our delayed 17th outing next summer. Securing another icon with Van Morrison as our final headliner is the icing on the cake. We cannot wait to welcome everyone back to what is sure to be the biggest party in Belladrum history next summer!”.

Also announced are indie rockers, The Fratellis who will be mixing their set with older anthems such as ‘Chelsea Dagger’ with newer tracks from their ,soon to be released, sixth album ‘Half Drunk Under a Full Moon’. Shed Seven return to the line-up, 11 years after their only other appearance at Belladrum. Passenger will be making a Highland debut, no surprises if ‘Let Her Go’ makes the set list have racked up plays and view on streaming sites in the billions. Despite being formed in 1977 and being fairly frequent visitors to the Highlands, Stiff Little Fingers  (read our 2017 review here) will also be making their debut appearance at the festival.
