Glachbeg Croft To Celebrate 100th Folk Club

An array of acts have been announced to play the hundredth folk club event at Glachbeg Croft, in October.

Glachbeg Croft and the Bull family have been hosting the club over the past nine years with each night featuring performances from local songwriters and musicians along with an open mic session. Whilst giving the opportunity to local acts it has also offered practical experience for music and sound students from North Highland College.

Celebrations of the 100th folk club have been moved from it’s monthly Tuesday slot to a Saturday. The line up for the afternoon includes;

Between this mammoth line-up will be the obligatory open mic opportunity.

The event is on from 12 MD to 5 ish on the 26th of October 2019 and is free entry , but donations are welcomed to SANDS Lothian (stillbirth and neonatal death society). Tea, coffee and cakes will be available.
