LCC Live ‘Proclaims’ Successful Summer Season

Local promoter, LCC Live heralds a successful 2019 with gigs ranging from Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds to The Proclaimers.

The biggest producer of live music events in Inverness and the North of Scotland announced ticket sales of around 50,000 for local events although this is double when including LCC Live’s excursions South which include Live at the Links and Live in Somerset.

For Inverness the crowds have been drawn to a range of events ranging from the celebrations of the 20th Anniversary of Skippinish to the return of The Kaiser Chiefs, via Piping Inverness. From our perspective it was also great to see the likes Lional, Astrid and The LaFontaines on the big stages.

Claire Kidger, Director of LCC Live, said:

“We’ve had another successful year, securing some of the best artists to perform at our outdoor arenas across the UK. We’ve welcomed over 50,000 visitors to Inverness as part of ‘Live in the City’s’ series of events, and being a small, Highland-based company, that is something we’re very proud of. With this year’s shows now over, we’re focusing on our 2020 music and events, which are shaping up to be extremely exciting. Announcements will be coming soon!”

We will no doubt have word of who will be coming to the area, as soon as we can.
