Being touted as the first time the Pretenders and Simple Minds have shared a stage since Live Aid, The Grand Slam Tour 2018 will also call on singer-song writer KT Tunstall to entertain audiences of Inverness.

There will be restriction placed on the use of the Infirmary Bridge with it being closed on the night of the gig from 10pm to 12 midnight. The nearest alternative crossing of the river will be signposted via Ness Bridge. . Further details here.

Can you take your phone?
Yes, but LHG are encouraging a “Experience it, don’t film it!” policy stating;
“We want everyone to enjoy the concert – it’s a great show, so we’d encourage you to keep your phone in your pocket and enjoy the music! Believe it or not the artist much prefers to see you than the back of your phone!”
What is the entry policy?
A bit stricter than the Little Mix gig the restrictions include;
- No pre-purchased food and drink can be brought into the concert, unless you have a specific dietary or medical requirement (proof of requirement will be requested)
- No drugs or psychoactive substances (any persons found with any such substances will be reported to Police Scotland)
- No professional cameras, videos or audio recording devices
- No glass is permitted on site
- Under 16s must be accompanied by an adult at all times
- No folding chairs, stools or blankets are permitted.
- Umbrellas are not permitted – instead we advise you bring a coat with a hood or purchase ponchos from the box office.
- Dogs are not permitted except assistance dogs – please make us aware in advance if an assistance dog is required
- All ticket holders may be asked to produce proof of age on entry to the concert and at the bar.
- Access to the disabled viewing area is for disabled ticket holders only
- Security staff at the entrance will enforce the conditions of entry including undertaking bag and random personal searches
- Persons who have consumed excess alcohol will be refused entry
- Fireworks, sparklers, lasers, and Chinese lanterns are prohibited
