DOMINICIDE with support from SATIRACY and SLIOCH to play Tooth & Claw in August.
Friday the 24thof August will see the latest in a string of shows which are bringing the best of the Scottish metal scene to the Capital of the Highlands. Headlining the show is the monstrous DOMINICDE from Glasgow.
They have built a reputation in the last year or so for having an intense, heavy and massive live show, this quintet bring the power live and are not for the faint of heart. The band have recently been signed to Enso Music Management (joining Inverness’s own SEED OF SORROW) so are evidently doing a lot of things right!
DOMINICIDE released their self titled EP towards the end of 2017, “Naturally heavy and intense, bringing old and slightly-less-old together, with great song structures and playing, this is very worthwhile checking out” was how SlowDragonMusic.com described the EP. These guys are evidently not to be missed as Down The Front Media described the sound;
“Is Celtic thrash a thing? If not, it should be, and these guys are the pioneers and they’re absolutely killing it. Dominicide are truly doing their own thing – genre hopping from trash to doom with a little bit of wailing 80s guitar all in one song.”
It’s sure to be a loud and raucous night with support from “The Diabolically Heavy” Satiracy from Glasgow who will be appearing in Inverness for the very first time.
Rounding out this line up for the night is Inverness’s own Scottish Folklore inspired metallers, Slioch who’ve been breathtakingly good every time I’ve seem them. Previous incarnations of these heaviest of nights (brought together by Mata Druim of SLIOCH) have included DISPOSABLE from Edinburgh and DEFACER from Kirkcaldy and have been a real experience.
If you’re even remotely interested in more heavy music in Inverness then it’s worth going out of your way to get down to this show, as it really isn’t one to be missed.
