RAINTOWN – Looking to Kick up a Storm in The Highlands this Week
16 awards in 5 years, two critically acclaimed albums and a fantastic new single ‘RUN WiTH THE NIGHT’ in advance of a 6 date UK tour, Glasgow-based, Raintown – are excited to be heading back to INVERNESS this Friday 20th April.
The brilliant duo, Paul Bain and Claire Mcarthur-Bain, deliver a startling take on UK contemporary country that is both firmly-rooted and unashamedly forward-thinking. Their intensely charismatic live performances are imbued with a spirit and energy that that make their sound accessible to all music lovers.
Claire said – “Final full band rehearsals are finished and we re so looking forward to kicking things off in Thurso and Inverness this week. It’s great to be back!”
Paul added, “It is our first time in the Ironworks and we love the energy of the Inverness audiences, so it’s got all the ingredients for a brilliant night.”
Tickets are £16 (adv) – with £1 of every ticket going to the North Highland Hospice. Special guest for the evening are the Highland Voices Gospel Choir.
