The Strives to play Ironworks in March.
The Strives are ‘Ones to watch’, for anyone that has experienced their precocious stage who by their own definition are “Combining powerful, in your face, guitar and bass structures with thunderous drum playing brings a very original, raw and loud sound to the scene.”
Since their formation in 2015 they have found themselves supporting The View, The Pigeon Detectives and even Scouting for Girls. First gig of 2018 saw them playing their first gig in London at the Notting Hill Arts Club, not a bad start for the year at all.
It’s been a while since we reviewed The Strives but when we did our contributor was impressed; “The Strives did everything I would not expect an unknown, not just to me, band to do. Quite simply they fucking nailed it.”
Building on that momentum, their debut EP “Kingpin” is released on IMOUT Records on 19 March 2018 and to celebrate The Strives will be playing first ever headline performance at The Ironworks.
