Little Mammoths to play Tooth & Claw in April.
There’s an obvious rugged rock ‘n’ roll charm that comes with Matt Owens and Co. (aka Little Mammoths). With an honest to goodness rock ethos the band continue their relentless charge into 2018 that started with them seeing in the New Year at Pilton Working Men’s Club. The event being made even more special as they were joined by Michael Eavis on stage for a song as a special guest.
Texan legend, Ray Wylie Hubbard heralded the London based four piece; “If your ears dig gnawing on the gritty sounds from a young, dirty, cool rock band, I just found Little Mammoths who satisfy the craving…”
If their frequent gigging in the area is a sign, they may no secret of their love for the Highlands with visits to Belladrum, Loopallu cementing the obvious mutual appreciation that highland audiences have for them.
Album number three is on the way, we are promised, in the meantime the four consecutive date Scottish tour in April will have to suffice.
