Tom Joshua, with a folk heart, lays strong emphasis on his observations on life, quotingĀ Nick Drake, Sufjan Stevens and Damien Rice as his influences. “The Tom Joshua sound..” he explained in an interview “is not down one line, some songs come out sounding like Disney because itās there in your head from way back but then sometimes they come out a bit dark because I listened to a lot of emo growing up as well.
