Michael Bernard Fitzgerald to support Bryan Adams in July.
Inverness Gigs can announce that there are more Canadians coming this summer. Well one, and he’s Michael Bernard Fitzgerald, who will be supporting his fellow countryman Bryan Adams at Bught Park on Sunday, 16th July.
Yeah, we know – like the thin end of the wedge, you let one in and then more come. UKiP voters need not fret as Mr Fitzgerald will accompany Mr Adams across several UK gigs and then he’s back to Canada in time for the tail-end of the summer festival season.
Fitzgerald, a singer-songwriter from Calgary, does similarly anthemic pop-rock tunes as his host, and looks likely to get the evening into a dancing mood.
You can get a taste of Fitzgerald’s stuff with his single I Wanna Make It With You which was also nominated for a Canadian Radio Music Award in the Best New Modern Rock Artist category earlier this year.
Meanwhile, the promoters, LLC Live, tell us that less than 10% of the tickets remain for the concert so if you’re sticking about the Sneck you’d better snap them up quick!
