Belladrum and the Sunday Herald have offered a band to play Seedling stage in 2017.
The festival , which has already announced headliners of Franz Ferdinand, The Pretenders and Sister Sledge, is searching for a stage opener for the Seedling emerging talent stage. It is calling out to acts of all genres to be put forward for judging by a panel of representatives from Belladrum and the Sunday Herald.
Joe Gibbs , Festival Director, has long been a supporter of both emerging and local talent, as seen when we spoke to him a while ago. The competition is clearly an extension of this as he explained in announcing the competition in the Sunday Herald;
“We’ve seen a lot of bands progress from the unsigned stage to playing the main stages. We get them crowds from all over the world, so the exposure is a wonderful opportunity.”
To apply to win the opportunity you have to email your biography, a Sound Cloud link and social media details to claire@tartanheartfestival.co.uk. The closing date is the 31st of June.
In the meantime if you are keen to get tickets for the festival, the last official word had stocks at 10% so you should pick them up quick from the Belladrum Skiddle ticket page.
