Lucy Spraggan for Inverness gig

Lucy Spraggan to play Eden Court in October.

A frequent visitor to the area, Lucy played to a full tent for Belladrum 2016 which followed a sold out Ironworks and a Highland tour. With tracks ranging from “Last Night” to “Unsinkable”, her ability to create a poignancy of lyric that is as likely to bring a tear as it is to raise a smile. The queen of social media has seen millions view her videos, but she has not lost her authenticity.

Her fourth album “I Hope You Don’t Mind Me Writing”, released in January, doesn’t pull any punches with “Dear You” tackling the subject of mental health, loss and the importance of reaching out. The same album also features a lament to the rising cost of Freddos, only Lucy Spraggan could pull that off.

Lucy is an astute observer, we mentioned during her last Inverness gig, driven by passion and without doubt a talent, we don’t need a show or judges to tell us that. Audiences without a doubt respond to her, so we expect her return will be a busy night at Eden Court.

Beyond Presents brings Lucy Spraggan, as they play Eden Court, Inverness on October the 19th.
