Rave of the Thrones featuring Kristian Nairn, for September at The Ironworks Venue.

For the uninitiated , of which I suspect there are very few, Game of Thrones the programme has earned world-wide recognition the adoration and the reasons for it’s popularity are well documented here.

The Rave of Thrones brings together the modern culture phenomena with music to create a themed celebration of the program. It perhaps does not do it justice to cut and slice the show’s own promotional material as it can set the scene better than we can;

The White Walkers and their army of the dead descend upon Westeros, with little time before the impending apocalypse reaches King’s Landing. To that end, the Small Council has decided to throw a huge party for the citizens, allowing them to celebrate their last few days before doom in true Baratheon style.

The Master Of Coin has decreed that the party, dubbed the ‘Rave Of Thrones’, should be a full-on party, with Ironworks resplendent with Dothraki warriors, Whitewalkers, the Unsullied and, of course, Kahleesi’s fire breathing pets, not to mention visuals and a light show to rival a castle siege.

We needed someone of the utmost strength, honour and dedication to the cause to carry the heaviest responsibility: providing the soundtrack to the Rave Of Thrones. There was one man who stood head and shoulders above the rest: KRISTIAN NAIRN, also known as Hodor, who will be utilising his years of DJing experience to keep us all dancing until winter comes.

Rave Of Thrones comes to Inverness for one night and will sell out quickly so buy your ticket early to avoid being condemned to The Wall….

Rave of Thrones will come to Westeros  Inverness on Saturday September the 17th. Tickets available online from The Ironworks website on Friday the 3rd of June at 10 am.
