Grandmaster Flash to play Inverness in December.
Having first played the Highlands at Belladrum 2014 the much anticipated gig received much praise, despite a slight delay in his performance. He returned to the area for Groove Cairngorm this year and it is clear that the Bronx borne DJ has a liking for the locale.
He is charged with being one of the Three Godfathers of Hip-Hop, pioneering the use of turntables and assembling one of the earliest and greatest rap groups of all time Grandmaster Flash & The Furious Five.
He has earned a stack full of accolades ,including being the first Hip-Hop act to be inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, and has played an impressive array of prestigious gigs that include playing the 1998 Super Bowl and closing the Commonwealth Games four years later.
Grandmaster Flash to play Ironworks Venue, Inverness on the 3rd of December. Tickets on sale via The Ironworks website on the 20th of May.
