The Cuban Brothers are to play the Ironworks in May, 2016.
After an unsurprisingly entertaining slot at Groove Cairn Gorm, where they tried to make suggestive moves on our photographer, the “peerless funk soul review who blends sexy, soulful music, with jaw-dropping b-boy action and riotous comedy” returns to the Highlands .
Neither siblings or from Cuba, Mike Keat (aka Miguel) explained that The Cuban Brother’s were created as a result of ‘watching dance music disappear up its own arsehole’. Subsequently garnering support from famous fans including Elton John, Richard Branson and Robbie Williams. The former having had them flown over to France in a private jet to perform.
2013 saw The Cuban Brothers debut album ‘Yo Bonita’ which features collaborations with Mica Paris (see the video for ‘So Sweet’ below), Tenor Fly, Omar, KT Tunstall, to name a few.
Their website boasts that “They will make you laugh, sing along, cry with joy, wet your pants and shake your booty”. We look forward to their return to the venue..
The Cuban Brothers are to play the Ironworks on the 21st of May, 2016.
