The View are to play a couple of Highland dates in April, 2016.
With thier last visit being an acoustic protional slot at HMV promoting latest album ‘Ropewalk’, the band that are no strangers to the area, were however over due a trip up north.
The View have always made an impression when they have played the area, wether it was their literal tent breaking performance at Rockness 2012 or the surprise performance at Belladrum 2014 which saw them pair up with the Cairn String Quartet.
With hits including ‘Wasted Little DJ’s’, ‘The Don’ and of course ‘Same Jeans’ garnered much attention, but the newest album has according to the band been a bit of a change. On talking about the latest album to the NME, Kyle said; “I would say that this record has really taken us out of our comfort zone… I think it’s our most inventive album yet, we really opened ourselves up to creative possibilities and thankfully the vision paid off. We can’t wait to get out there and play it live”.
