Sweet White for The Eagle, Inverness in October.
Sweet White hail from Aberdeen-shire with the band themselves describing their music as having “Funky grooves lined with darker tones”, reviewers have drawn similarities to Peace, Foals and Arctic Monkeys.
Despite being in their relative infancy having formed little over a year ago, they have shared billing with Model Aeroplanes, Daydream Frenzy and Indian Red Lopez as well as getting strong support from national press and radio.
‘Monet’ , released on the 12th of October, is the first EP from the five piece and has seen the launch track ‘Tides’ described by TmrwMagazine as ” a track so easy to get lost in; a beautiful echoing daydream”.But check it out for yourself;
October sees the band on a comprehensive nine-date, EP promoting, tour of Scotland finishing on the home-turf of Peterhead on the 24th of October
Sweet White, with support from new Forres band The Strives, play The Eagle on Saturday October 17th.
