Cherri Fosphate to play Inverness in October.
The band quoted influences such as Pheonix, Frightened Rabbit, We Were Promised Jetpacks and Joy Formidable when they spoke to us way back in 2012.The Stateside influence in their attitude and sound has been well documented with their press release clarifying their sound by describing it as “constructed an exquisite, lo-fi fuzz-filled record melded with the more disciplined elements of math rock”.
Building an impressive array of support slots including Catfish and the Bottlemen, Dry the River and Honeyblood as well as the obligatory festival appearances.
The band’s first album ‘We Didn’t Come Here To Say Goodbye’ is to be released ,via Bloc+Music, in the middle of November. The album is available for pre-sale here. Opening for Jonny Sharpe and co., will be All So Simple, known for their chaotic performances as shown at their recent gig at the Spectrum centre.
Cherri Fosphate will play Mad Hatters , as part of their five date Scotland tour, on Friday 30th October.
