XpoNorth have announced the list of emerging acts to play the Seedlings Stage at Belladrum 2015.

KLOË has been played by Zane Lowe on his Radio 1 show, and will be playing the station’s Big Weekend event.

An exciting line-up of emerging Scottish acts is announced today for the XpoNorth (previously goNorth) Seedlings Stage at the sold out Belladrum Tartan Heart Festival.

XpoNorth Music Project Manager, Alex Smith explained; “The stage will feature a diverse selection of artists from our 2015 showcase list and we’re really excited to be presenting them to one of the most enthusiastic festival crowds in the country.”

Leading the announcement is KLOË aka Clydebank’s whose debut single “Grip” ,produced by Lewis Gardiner from Prides, was played by Zane Lowe on his Radio 1 show last year. Vladimir who certainly won our reviewer over when they supported The View at the Ironworks earlier this year will be also be performing,

A couple of band’s which can also be caught at the forthcoming Inverness Gigs showcase and XpoNorth are Dundee’s The Mirror Trap and the alternative/indie/folk of Nieves.

Last year it was the likes of Cryptic Keys, Searching for Donkeys, Bite Night and Shaped who flew the flag for Inverness acts on the Seedling stage, this year it will be Woodentooth (their EP ‘Winter’ is on the way soon) and local favourites Sara Bills and the Has-Beens playing the stage. Two other bands from the area will be selected by University of the Highlands & Islands soon.

Also on the bill are  AYLEE, The Weathermen, Bloodlines, Monogram, Garden of Elks, Gales, Poor Things, Crash Club, Catholic Action, Tijuana Bibles, The Broken Ravens, The Wood Burning Savages, Sly at Last, Man of Moon and The Bongo Club.

Of the announcement, Joe Gibbs Belladrum Festival promoter said; ‘Searching out the next wave of exciting emerging bands and artists from Scotland, and the Highlands in particular has always been an important part of Bella over the years, and we are delighted that our continuing relationship with the team at XpoNorth has yet again delivered an extremely strong and diverse line-up for 2015.’
