Dave Hook described Spring Break as “a breath of much needed fresh air”

Alness based Atlas came to the attention after their debut at The Ironworks in 2014 with their popular styled punk rock which has seen them most recently support The LaFontaines.

The acoustic stage, we’ll use the term loosely, also houses an impressive amount of talent. Sarah Williamson is perhaps better known for her time fronting Shaped, the singer songwriter brings much of her enthusiasm and energy that saw her band gain strong praise. Sarah will be joined by AlmostFolk  a four piece band a folk band complimented by the beautiful vocals of Carmen Beaton.

Headlining the stage will be Spring Break, described by themselves as “vaguely outrageous, psychedelic 3 piece folk funk outfit”. Having recently supported Stanley Odd on their mini ‘Sweat Box’ tour, Spring Break release debut EP ‘Departure Lounge’ on April the 20th.

Co-organiser of the event, Steve Robertson of Dingwall Events said “I’m really excited for Dingwall Events ongoing involvement in this worthy event to give Ross-Shire musicians a great stage to perform on and to give Ross-Shire audiences a chance to see some brilliant talent”.

Tickets will be available from the acts themselves or on line very very soon.
