Indie folk three piece to play Glachbeg Croft Folk Club in March.
Something, Someone. are a Clackmannanshire/Glasgow-based indie- folk trio who quote influences including Eddi Reader, Rachel Sermanni, Laura Marling and The Staves.
The band, Morgan Woods, Rachel Elliott and Allan Harkness, know how to expose the beauty within their songs while still bringing the pop element forward; providing the soundtrack to either a lovely summers evening or a drive through the Highlands.
Each member of Something, Someone. being a multi-instrumentalist who wanders between main and backup vocals, giving the listener layers of harmony and melody to get lost in through their delicate, yet elaborate arrangements.
Something, Someone. have recently featured on STV Glasgow’s Riverside Show, they then later went on to play at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall as part of Celtic Connections. The band also recently played a sold-out King Tuts as support for the Nieves.
After the release of their single ‘Waltz With Me’, their next EP release is scheduled for late Spring/early Summer.
Something, Someone. will be joined on the 17th of March by Aaron Murray (Silver Coast) playing an acoustic slot and ,as always, the eclectic open mic.
