Iain Mclaughlin and the Outsiders announce gig to celebrate the launch of new record ‘Falling Through the Dark’.
Following a fairly quiet spell which has seen only a couple of gigs this year as the band concentrate on new recordings, Iain Mclaughlin and the Outsiders are to play the Ironworks on the 12th of September.
‘Falling Through the Dark’ represents the first studio material since the impressive “WeAreAllOutsiders” and is described as “[encapsulating] the pensive style of songwriter Mclaughlin’s admissions, hopes and fears and distills them into a broadening aural landscape.”
Iain had talked to us earlier this year when he discussed the addition of fifth member Alasdair Duncan and his thoughts about the new material (see full interview).
The line up for the September gig will also features two bands with strong links to Iain Mclaughlin and the Outsiders in The Whiskys and Lionel.
Tickets will be available via the Ironworks.
