The school have been running a competition with the school children to draw a poster for Friday’s PBW event. The two wrestling stars going back to school are Joe Legend the former WWE star and TNA Tag Team Champion and ‘Party’ Marty Scrull who was featured on TNA Bootcamp UK on Challenge TV.

They will be joined by Toby Michaels who recently penned the official ICT FC song for the League Cup Final last Sunday and who tangled with one of the wrestlers at the debut event last year. The trip will allow the wrestlers to talk about life as a professional wrestler and why they shouldn’t try wrestling at home.

Event organiser, Steve Robertson said “I’m told the kids can’t wait to meet Joe Legend, Marty Scrull and Toby so it’s fantastic that we can get them up to the school on Friday afternoon to speak to them about wrestling and take questions ”.

Steve Robertson and Toby Michaels can be heard on Monday afternoons on their Rock N Wrestle radio show.

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene. In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me via our Facebook page.
