Do They Know it’s Christmas?

Call out for Inverness musicians to come together for festive charity single release.

The Easter eggs have not yet rolled but plans are afoot for a Christmas single to raise funds for a local charity. An established Inverness musician is on the look out for musicians to play on the track which is an original composition.

Whilst details are sparse at the moment, the hope is that a call out for people to sing on the track will appeal to acts’ charitable sides. Given the success of the recent Clutha fundraisers at the Market Bar and Hootananny, we have no doubt that many will answer the call.

If your interested please email admin@InvernessGigs.co.uk and we will forward the details over.

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene. In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me via our Facebook page.
