With the formal announcement that all weekend and Saturday tickets are sold out for Belladrum 2014, we look at ways to still get in to the festival.
1) Keep an eye on the website Skiddle they are hoping to have some returned tickets (if you do want to return tickets purchased from Skiddle email support@skiddle.com) and tickets where the buyer has not paid the sum of the deposit on the deposit scheme that they were offering.
Subsequently Skiddle will have some tickets avaialble at 11am on Monday the 2nd June. Tickets went in a few minutes, sorry folks.
2)Get hold of a Saturday ticket and then upgrade, Saturday tickets may perhaps be less desirable at the moment so if you can get one then you can upgrade via Skiddle.
3)People wanting to ethically resell tickets have been asked by Belladrum to use The Ticket Trust it promises “safe, secure and legitimate ticket exchange – without the over inflated mark-ups.”
So obviously you can keep an eye on their website, Facebook and Twitter (@Twickets ), which they will be using to spread the word for tickets.
4)Play the festival if you have an act why not consider applying via goNORTH (you have until Friday the 4th of April), they supply the talent for the Seedlings stage, which has previously hosted PAWS, Dingus Khan and many many more. The submission date has now passed.
5)Steward at the event, Festaff are offering a weekend pass and secure place to camp for all, plus food and water whilst on duty in return for two, eight hour shifts from Thursday to Saturday.
6)Keep a close close eye on the official twitter, @Belladrumfest, if there is any movement on ticket availability they will normally use their social media first.
7)Check you employer (especially if they are one of the main sponsors) and local charities, they have a tendency to look for volunteers to work at the event (promoting the business etc) in exchange for a ticket.
8)There are always a few competitions kicking about for tickets, so keep an eye open. Equally given the festival’s commitment to support local charity, they will no doubt be tickets offered up as raffle or auction prizes.

PS Every year Belladrum warn against using auction sites and unofficial re-sellers, we suspect the rationale for this is simple, they want happy punters – not festival goers that have paid over the odds or that turn up and get turned away.
