TBP Admiral Fallow at Belladrum 2013 DSC6626 300x199 - Final Two at the BrewBrew at the Bog 2014 have announced the final two acts to play at the Bogbain Farm event on the 3rd of May.

Having been heavily trailed for the last few weeks the festival dubbed “The best new music festival in Scotland” by Vic Galloway has announced that Admiral Fallow and Siobhan Wilson will complete the bill.

Admiral Fallow were last seen in the area playing Belladrum 2013, where ‘Squealing Pigs’ and ‘Isn’t The World Enough?’ were impressing the mainstage audience. Described by the festival as “our biggest band to date”, the band were once described, perhaps brutally by The Guardian as “This jaunty lot are not for us, but they do what they do well enough for widespread consumption.

Siobhan Wilson’s influences are described in her bio as “The likes of Joni Mitchell, John Martyn and Nina Simone informed her inquisitive young ears, and the likes of Regina Spektor and Madeline Peyroux inspired the music you can hear today.” RaveChild of her Celtic Connections gig said “Her voice has an old-fashioned feel, matching her flicking liner and sixties hair, in that theme I guess she’s somewhere between Jackie O and Janis J!”

Tickets (£35.00 including camping) available from : www.brewatthebog.com.

A lifelong passion for music matched with a geeky fascination for social media and websites resulted in the creation of Inverness Gigs back in 2010. The aim of the site is to help promote, support and generally raise awareness of the local music scene. In fairness fifteen years of being a psychiatric nurse never prepared me for the experiences that we have had over the last few years and the evolution of Inverness Gigs has certainly been a steep learning curve.I currently write (less and less), edit and co-ordinate most of the Inverness Gigs activities.Occasionally seen on Twitter, and  LinkedIn, if you want get in touch you can contact me via our Facebook page.
