On Saturday 21st of December you won’t want to be anywhere else. The Caley Bar in Nairn are hosting some of Nairns’ local talent, live, unplugged and raw. Toby Michaels and Mork are taking to the stage from 9pm for a night of guaranteed fun, music and madness.
The Rock Juggernaut Freight Train that is Toby Michaels (more frequently joined by his band, Toby Michaels Rolling Damned) is picking up steam, so grab your ticket, jump on board and get ready to rock! Born and raised in Nairn, Toby has promised to bring his unique brand of anarchy back to the town that initially nurtured his madness.
Further to this, aspiring local musician Mork will be making an appearance. He is a regular fixture in the Caley Bar, collaborating with other local musicians on a regular basis. From playing in bands in his youth he has matured musically, now bringing you his own unique blend of acoustic reggae come folk, infused with his punk spirit.
Yvonne Main of the Caley Bar added: “It’s an honour to be able to help bring music back to Nairn after its long absence in the area. We hope this event and many others like it being planned for 2014 will be the start of something special in the community and help show the range of talented musicians we have locally”.
